Meeting a Christmas Greeter: What better way to discover Mulhouse, its traditions and legends, than through its inhabitants! With one of my colleagues, we tried the experience of a Christmas decoration making workshop at Emilienne’s.
So we go to the Sundgau area,
with its beautiful traditional buildings, where Emilienne lives. She welcomes us warmly to her home. She prepared for us on her table a multitude of objects, allowing us to have beautiful decorations for the Christmas and New Year period.
We have chosen to make a snowman
Made of a cork plug, on a beautiful wooden support. It’s up to us to play now, by imagining a personalized creation! After 1 hour of chatting, exchanging on various and varied subjects, we also finish our achievements! We are satisfied with what we have been able to create! We finally never lose our child’s soul, because memories come back to me, beautiful Christmas crafts done at school! Emilienne invites us to have a drink and taste some good homemade Christmas bredalas (Alsatian Christmas cakes); a delight !Before leaving us, Emilienne gives us a pack of Bredalas, as well as our little Christmas decoration, we are spoiled! We had a very nice afternoon, in a friendly atmosphere, which I am not about to forget ! If you too want to experience a unique and authentic moment, in the spirit of the real Alsatian Christmas, nothing could be easier, just go to the website www.noel-sud-alsace.com and select the Christmas greeter of your choice.
