Our Partners …
As a fervent defender of sustainable and fair tourism, we develop joint activities with other stakeholders on complementary approaches and similar ethics.
FFTST – Fédération Française des Techniciens Supérieurs du Tourisme
Since 1965, the F.F.T.S.T. has brought together professionals holding a Tourism diploma. A representative structure of the tourism sector, it is a partner of administrations, federations, NGOs and various tourism operators and tourism professionals. Its actions to develop the sector focus on the establishment of professional training, particularly for training centres and/or teachers/trainers, and on building a dialogue between professional tourism stakeholders and trainers with a view to achieving a better match between training and the needs of businesses. Dans ce cadre, la FFTST et la FFG ont décidé de collaborer pour créer des passerelles entre les formations, les étudiants et les Greeters par le biais d’un rapprochement local par réseau/organismes de formation. This rapprochement aims to make sustainable tourism more visible to students, future tourism players, by providing training courses with a set of useful resources on the concept of participatory tourism and several concrete avenues for collaboration (conferences, interventions, hosting internship missions, etc.)
Homeexchange
With 450,000 homes and apartments in 187 countries, HomeExchange is the world leader in peer-to-peer home exchange. Unlike mass tourism, the practice of home exchange brings together a community of travelers in search of authentic, sustainable and economical vacations. Values close to those of the Greeters, which allowed us to come together in order to promote each other, but not only that! Our two communities are following the same path: encouraging local and responsible tourism, immersion in local life by promoting meetings and cultural exchanges. The promise of a great collaboration!
Les oiseaux de passage
With the Birds of Passage, it’s a story that doesn’t date from yesterday! It is impossible not to make connections between this community of Passeurs de Voyage, united around values of hospitality and welcome which place human encounter at the heart of travel. Two Greeters networks are already part of the adventure, in Marseille and Nantes, and we think that this is only the beginning! Our partnership is based on a genuine common interest: promoting hospitality, encounters and exchanges between populations, between visitors and those visited, with the desire to collaborate on fundamental actions, to promote the inhabitants and committed actors of our territories.
Voyageons autrement
A key player in web publishing in the sustainable tourism sector, Voyageons autrement defines its mission on its site: “Disseminating the virtuous initiatives of tourism operators and relaying their responsible commitments and achievements, Voyageons-Autrement.com thus contributes to increasing the web visibility of players involved in sustainable development.”
This is what Voyageons-Autrement.com offers and which is our basis for partnership together: “The Web communication component is fundamental today. By discovering your structure, your projects step by step, through the experiences of men and women involved in an ecotourism approach, readers will identify more with your territories and their stakeholders. Tell your story, to captivate the reader and encourage them to act,”
