While the Christmas markets at La Défense or the Champs-Elysées attract more than a million visitors each year, Rueil-Malmaison, located just a few minutes from the capital, allows you to experience the Christmas spirit while avoiding the crowds. Take the opportunity to discover this city with one of its inhabitants who will welcome you like a friend!
From December 6, 2019 to January 8, 2020, Christmas takes its winter quarters in Rueil-Malmaison, through numerous events organized as part of the great end-of-year event “Rueil fête Noël”.
What better way to get to know each other than at the skating rink, on the square in front of City Hall? We are not experts in figure skating, but if you feel like putting on your skates, you can enjoy it from Friday, December 6, 2019 until Sunday, January 5, 2020! And for families, a small skating rink is reserved exclusively for children between 3 and 6 years old.
This winter, the fairgrounds have taken over the town centre. If you come with your family, enjoy the rides and sweets of the “Christmas fairytale” in the Christmas village, Place du 11-Novembre-1918 (near the Local History Museum). Good plan: you can also let yourself be driven through the streets of the town centre aboard the old-fashioned horse-drawn carriage. Another way to discover Rueil-Malmaison.
The many twin towns of Rueil-Malmaison will come to share their local cultures. The opportunity to celebrate the end of the year festivities as in Russia, Latvia, Italy, Croatia, Switzerland, Germany or Lebanon! This world market will take place on Friday 13, Thursday 14 and Sunday 15 December, from 9am to 7pm at Place de l’Eglise.
