With great enthusiasm, our Greeters will take you on a tour of the Orne, personalized and authentic. Welcoming and user-friendly, they will put you at ease for a simple discovery around selected themes or favorite landscapes.

Très belle expérience ! Thierry était ponctuel, très sympathique avec une connaissance bien ciblée sur ALENCON. Contact très chaleureux, nous permettant d’être vite à l’aise, comme un ami ! We could see little corners that we would have ignored. Our friends were also delighted. Thanks again to Thierry and your beautiful structure that promotes encounters.

Our greeter, Valerie, was very welcoming. First she showed us the church at Preaux du Perche with its stained glass of World War I soldiers. Then we walked on country roads, up and down hills, past farm fields, houses, and forests. She pointed out a view of three departments. We came back to the center of Preaux by a sunken road and past several ponds. Valerie was well informed about crops, wildlife, wild plants, trees, and especially bees, and was able to answer all our questions. We understand French better than we speak or write it, and we had no trouble understanding Valerie, who speaks very clearly. We learned so much and wished we had done this kind of visit when we first started coming to the Perche.

Catherine est une greeter dynamique et très sympathique, passionnée ce qu’elle fait. Nous avons passé un très bon moment avec elle, même si nous aurions aimé en savoir davantage sur l’historique de la ville, mais nous savions que ce n’était pas forcément de sa compétence (le greeter en question n’était pas disponible). No regrets anyway!

Each of the “Greeter de France” destinations is led and managed by a local actor: Association, collective of residents or tourist entity (Tourist Offices, Departmental Tourism Committee). These actors are all members of the FFG (France Greeters Federation) and as such respect the same operating rules. They follow the values and ethics defined globally by IGA (International Greeter Association). The management and coordination of the France Greeters Federation ensures the pooling of our processes and tools, our global presence on the Web and social networks as well as the sharing of our communication programs.

BETWEEN EARTH AND SEA
From the top of the Aber Ildut to the small port of Mazou, Maryvonne will accompany you for a small eclectic hike. Between the rocky coast of the Iroise Sea, with a view of the Molène archipelago, and ribinoù (small bocage paths in Breton), discover two very different facets and yet so close to our territory. Blue and green mix together to form a single word in Breton: glaz.
